Homebuyer Team Coordinator

I grew up in Columbia, Tennessee, the Mule Capital of the World! I have six sisters and two brothers. At a young age, I spent my summers working on my uncle's farm hauling hay and cutting and hanging tobacco. I also played baseball, basketball, and football from a young age, though football is the sport that stuck with me through high school. At 20 years old I joined the Army and had the absolute privilege of serving as a rifle team leader in the 82nd Airborne Division. After the military, I came to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee, where I graduated in 1994. I loved every minute of my time at UT and came to really love east Tennessee!

After graduation, I worked in the restaurant industry and got the opportunity to travel all over the country in that industry. I have worked for the Ruby Tuesday corporation, the Crab House restaurants, and was a Sous Chef for Planet Hollywood in Dallas, New York, and finally back to Nashville. After the restaurant business, I ran Kroger grocery stores in middle Tennessee and Kentucky. I had the opportunity to do a lot of volunteer work with the Humane Society while managing Kroger stores. In 2007, I transferred to Knoxville to get married and get back to the place I considered home! I have 2 children in elementary school and my wife is a Knoxville native. I also worked as a Target manager before leaving the retail industry and becoming a real estate agent.

In my years of experience in restaurants and retail, I came to realize that the most enjoyable part of my role was helping people on a daily basis. I loved the challenges that those jobs presented and they allowed me the opportunity to creatively look for solutions to help the people I interacted with every day. I am proud to be a part of the Holli McCray Home Marketing Group and look forward to being a resource for all of our clients!
